UEA students had a stand at Norwich Science Festival and needed a 3D model of a bee to present to highlight the plight of bee diversity. My job was to model the bee for 3D printing which would be later painted. Finding reference for the Common Yellow-faced Bee was very difficult as it is only 7mm long.
